Back the villages we run for

Rise Ultra is a 60km run through Morocco’s High Atlas. The day before the run, our runners spend a day in an earthquake-affected village with the High Atlas Foundation. We’re looking for a few brands to come with us.

The earthquake

Why it matters

On 8 September 2023 a magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck the High Atlas. Nearly 3,000 people were killed and whole mountain villages were levelled. Many families are still rebuilding, and winter in the mountains is hard.

Warm clothes, including winter coats for the village

You fund it, we buy the clothes and we hand them over in person on community day, Friday 9 October, the same way we did in 2024. You get the receipts and photos of everything handed out.

Paid to Rise Ultra on invoice. If you need a charity donation receipt, give through the High Atlas Foundation instead.

Match what our runners raise for the High Atlas Foundation, up to a cap you choose. Every euro they raise goes further, and it gives them a reason to push.

Back the kids’ run

Sunday 11 October. Medals, t-shirts or snacks for the local kids who run the day after the ultra.

Runner kit & nutrition

Caps, gels, electrolytes or gear for Ultra Day, Saturday 10 October. Used on the course and shared in our posts. Kit needs to reach us in the UK before the group flies out on 8 October. Message Alex for the address.

A long-term partnership

An opportunity to be involved with a grassroots ultramarathon company dedicated to supporting communities in the Atlas Mountains, and further communities in need.
